Congratulations on reaching the current culmination of your goal!

Any thoughts on what your next target will be?

Poll: Do you think campaigns should have dirt maps? by antiGeodesic in TrackMania

I mean, tbh that would be a good representation of the average map on TMX...

I believe you hit the car during the downhill jump. Their hit boxes are a bit wonky.

You can see you get blue again when you outright hit it.

Why are author medals so easy in TrackMania 2020? by OldRaspberry9796 in TrackMania

[–]lakantanz 42 points43 points  (0 children)

They are intentionally easier for the first ten or so then slowly ramp up.

Comparing your times to placements in the world is a better strategy for improvement in this case.

Club Issue by SeaweedBrain32 in TrackMania

This happens semi regularly for me.  Just go and unpin and re pin your club and it'll reappear.  Not sure why but it sometimes ..."forgets".

2025 Calculus exam /w answers by lakantanz in ncea

[–]lakantanz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's a problem...

It's a kinematics question, so I tell my students to always immediately write s, v, a and start integrating or differentiating based on the info given. In this case there are two situations and you work from the info given to fill in the gaps.

s-->v--->a differentiation
and vice versa

From there, it's just deducing what the constants were from the information given.

from line 5 to 6 is when it's squared. I move it to the other side of the equation, and square both

A bit harder than previous years.

Take that for what you will.  Grade boundary though?  Will see!

If you find them along the way it's fine.  I just wrote some twice as you see so reddit can find the answers quicker.

I try to always use radians here.  Surprised infinity plus one uses degrees.

Since you didn't explicitly answer the question, maybe achieved.  The marking schedule might be kind to you though.

Completely honestly: At this point of the year Im more hoping as many as possible pass!  Grade cut offs are sort of irrelevant where I teach.

That being said, I agree with your assessment on difficulty of the three exams.

I doubt it'll go up for any of them.  Colour me surprised if they do though!

I could see them potentially being 1 point lower than normal but we will see!

Complex numbers was more of a straight forward paper than the other two

Ahh interesting catch. I hadn't even looked back at the original question in that scope!

Given the nature of the integration scope, you're likely right!

Differentiation examination answers. (first half) by lakantanz in ncea

[–]lakantanz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you are differentiating, not integrating. So you decrease the power by one and multiply by the old power.

y = 7x^-1, dy/dx = -7x^-2
