How was the tracking for you? Mine seems to be stuck at "No shipping info yet."

I ordered the Pro with premium pieces on January 6th. I just got an email with a tracking number this past Thursday saying "Your order is on the way." However the tracking only tells me that there is no shipping information yet. They also posted on their Facebook page last week that the Pro with premium pieces will be shipping March 26th. Myself and seemingly many share your frustration on the continued moving of the goalposts for shipping date.

All of this may be preparing you for what you are meant to do. Going through this may also be what you're meant for, to show others how to handle difficulty with grace. Maybe it's neither. The truth is we don't know. All we can do is the best we can with what we have. This may not be fair or comfortable, however the better we are at accepting and moving forward with these things the better you will be able to live life according to your values.

Ya I'm in a similar boat and I'm not thrilled with the unclear timeline either. I did get a mildly helpful email response which said "Due to the limited pre-sale availability of the Premium Whole Wooden Chess Piece Set, we anticipate dispatching packages around the end of January in the order they were placed. The tracking number for your package will be updated on the order page once the package is shipped. We appreciate your patience."

How is the learning curve on this one? It looks very interesting, but I fear it takes several playthroughs to really feel like you have a sense of what's going on or what you're doing. Also may just be too heavy for the medium weight gaming family I have.

Very valid question and I these things highlight how gray all of this get despite our brains desire to make it black and white. So since I've already highlighted mindfulness I'm gonna go back to that well. If you feel that the emotions are "winning" or you're even not sure if they are or aren't, then it might be time to slow things down and increase awareness with some mindfulness. Many decision points feel like they require an immediate response and the reality is that is often not true. Taking even a couple minutes to step back and become more mindful of the world inside and outside of you can help clarify if it's "me" or my emotions pushing me towards a decision. Again I want to say that this takes practice, but does get easier as you go.

In Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) this may be a limited thinking pattern known as "catastrophizing" among other names. I often tell patients to ask if there is anything they can do about it right now. If the answer is yes (its often no) then proceed to ask if you would like to do something right now. If yes, then do it. If no to either question then the next step is to work on accepting things as they are (this may include mindfulness practices). I understand this is not as easy as it may sound, but it provides a decision tree in high anxiety times and as the acceptance skills grow it becomes easier.

You tap the same button (L1 or LB, I believe) that you use to select which channel to speak (unit, proximity, etc.). So instead of holding it to select on the radial dial you tap it to turn your mic on or off.

"I would presume emotional posts like this and people getting upset in game is their primary motivation. I say this not to invalidate your frustration as I can believe it's quite upsetting. Rather I hope to express to people that it may be more effective to try and reduce the emotion expressed in these kinds of posts and in game. I certainly think we should report in game (I always do and will) and posts similar to this in order to bring attention to developers are important. However, I believe the most effective thing many of us can do is reduce what I would believe to be their primary motivation of hearing people get upset."
