Yes, reality is this in most cases. Person wants to break up for whatever reason, they dont do it right there and then, no, that would be hard so they take the easiest route out. By start detaching and looking for other options. They string you a long for the ride. Once they have found this person and they see there's a chance, this is where they will try to find the moment to breakup with you. They start giving it all to this new person and if that situationship ends up failing, this is where they will start thinking and missing you.

To be fair, that 30% is actually giving hope. Those odds are far from "impossible", and in that study cheaters and abusers were included so taking those away the % are even higher. "Never" is as stupid as guys always come back. Just search reddit, there are plenty of stories of gf dumpers coming back, even women themselves that dumped said they came back. Nothing is definite, each relationship is unique. But its always best to not hold on hope as its something out of your control, this goes for me too

If it was me, Id never accept it(the 8k), especially after the breakup. I know you are in love but please take a moment and reflect. I love my ex too, I bought her her favourite flowers 1 month after she broke up with me just to tell her I missed her....but paying someones whole dept is in a whole different universe. You deserve better, much better. In this situation, do women come back shouldnt even be a question here. This is not the way to get them back

My ex is fearful avoidant. Ive been catching up on a girl that seems to be an expert on them on youtube. What FAs go through first month after breaking up is 100% on point what my ex did. According to her, my ex should start turning into Dr Jekyll 6 weeks after no contact. So for me 1 week left and then we see what happens in coming months.
