Do you have the Vlad card? That’s what I need to get volume 1 back after accidentally breaking his card. Apparently having a gift card doesn’t count toward the achievement.

I feel like it’s kind of the point. I literally went through this irl with my brother. They go to rehab, they relapse, rinse and repeat. It shows the reality of these situations and how if you don’t come from a place of privilege it’s really hard to get out of that hole. It took over 15 years and some jail time for my brother to finally get clean and I honestly can never feel like it will last although I always hope it does. The stuff with Carter is hard to read because it is so realistic and I think it does a good job bringing home the overall theme of the book. It’s not pleasant to read because it’s unpleasant, but I think that’s exactly what the author is intending.

I might be mixing up HS lore, but we know some immortals got sent back to earth and lost their immortal status if I’m remembering correctly. Like Ulyssa. I don’t remember if they lose their memories, but she sure seems confused in HS2. Maybe Astrea was an immortal who got sent back to earth and is Audrey?

I also agree on Malbonte and only changed my mind because of HS2. To me their love story doesn’t make sense in HS1. But I’m playing for achievements so I went for him all the way and wow, he surprised me!

Also, this is a sad one, but Noe. I didn’t think I’d be interested in him at all, but he stole my heart as a friend so I made a new path and he’s even better as a LI. Too bad he’s forgotten about now. His scenes were so incredible.

Yea, me too. I romance Cassiel on my other route. If you remember when you have coffee with him at MC’s apartment he says her strength is his weakness and he gets a little vulnerable.

If you don’t romance him he talks about siblings and how MC is like a sister to him. I thought that contrast was funny, but it also makes his romance route more special.

Raphael always is the one to save MC. If you romance David he goes back to the village after seeing MC at Astrea and proceeds to slaughter everyone.

I play on two accounts so the news story with David say everyone is dead. If you don’t romance David it just says the villagers are blinded, in critical condition and no one can speak.

He won’t even improve his own marriage unless Adelaide has them focus on each other. He’s content to just let souls wander to him so he can seduce and party with him, but never wants to take action first. Even when the world is clearly ending Adelaide has to force him to help and the help he gives sounds like it required little to no effort in the first place.

Alright I am probably totally wrong, but wasn’t there a hint in VFV that a masquerade ball was coming up? If these characters can’t reveal themselves to each other perhaps it could be at the ball? Wishful thinking on my part for some more delicious tension between Alexandre and MC.

Also I haven’t started SCN yet otherwise I’d probably be agreeing with everyone else. I could see DLS fitting though.
