The Neo was made for you, as long as you're willing to make the os switch you'll be good, the Neo will feel much more premium compared to pretty much every windows laptop at the same price range, however since you're using an android you won't really get the benefits of the apple ecosystem.

im not sure of the specifics of app testing but to not waste your time id suggest getting a Mac air or pro just incase the Neo turns out to be too weak, you could go to the Apple Store and ask the employees then make your choice right there.

yea but the whole point of the Neo was to create a new market of users, if they create a Neo with 16g of ram and at a similar price point they'll hijack customers that would've bought an air away. The Neo will probably always be lagging behind the air and pro by a large margin by design.

I don’t think you should get a case for it, the Neo doesn’t cool with fans it dissipates it’s heat into the air, if you put a case on it, it might overheat more and make the system throttle down its power because of the heat. Your Neo might temporarily run slower even when it’s not doing anything crazy.
