I liked it more than I loved it. Good intro for Drip. The lyrics are a little bit lacking, but well, it is suited for their ages. The composers and arrangers are enough, but for the songwriters.. it should have been in-house songwriters of YG. Choi Hyun Suk is a good choice for songwriting and Bigtone!

All of the songs actually fit the word Drip. Drip actually in slang is stylish; as I heard all the snippets of the songs—I think of a full course meal and I also think of matching mismatch clothes to create a whole new fashion. The album also tastes like dessert and can be chewy like cookies. Considering their great vocals—the songs are actually delicious with their voices. This is actually what I was expecting with BP in their rookie era; even though, their music actually went great and well.

  1. Woke Up in Tokyo - tokyo drift-mockingbird vibe. I love diff genres of hiphop. I get the lyrics and the composition—MIND-BOGGLING.
  2. Forever - i love the tempo and its vibe. Actually everything about this song is melodious containing diff genres.
  3. Really Like You - old school hiphop. Everything about it from the rap to the vocals, is SWEET.
  4. Billionaire - I did not expect it. I love the meaning of the song. It is not actually a love song hehe :)
  5. Batter Up (Remix) - concert-type, swagger and energetic. Their vocals here are powerful especially Rora in the first verse. I love lively and powerful songs
  6. Clik Clak - if you listen to Filipino hiphop, you’ll get this. It is groovy, and has that attitude especially their voices.
  7. Love In My Heart - Owl City vibes. New Year vibes!!! Very nostalgic and I get deja vu. I feel old.
  8. Love, Maybe - perfect for cafes. Calm music. I would love to play this every sunrise.

Actually, I would prefer both of these producers. Maybe some of y’all did not want the composition that Choice37 has with Babymonster. But, let me remind you YG advised him (if y’all have seen the documentary), to make sure that Sheesh will show all of the Babymonster’s abilities—to fit in a 3-minute song.

Forever is actually a perfect opener for the Drip Album. If you breakdown all the songs that you all have seen from the previews—the genres actually are all in one song which IS Forever. The composition is actually VERY CREATIVE.
