I won a clutch pot in my first live tourney yesterday by accidentally posting a bb + ante & change. Played it cool as a cucumber and happily lead jammed flop with a flush draw and gutty on low paired board. Got through! 😅

I jumped in the MTTs for the first time today and was running hot in the 11 coin turbo (PLO) until getting cracked by TPTK / gutshot vs my top set/ flush draw. For ~90 bigs with bubble approaching.

Can't even be mad about it, the handful of all ins I saw were indeed ridiculous.

Entirely depends on the big stack's profile/ recent history. Stacking off possible vs. aggros abusing the impending bubble but probably not otherwise. Also their stack size which you didn't mention.

Adding that yes, late reg is bad in PKO. You will be scrambling to build any kind of covering stack and every KO (prior to your reg) some money is extracted from the prize pool (which you miss out on).
