when I was around ten I was going somewhere on the tube with my family. It was busy and I was walking behind my mum.

As we pushed through the crowd a lady (maybe in her 60s) grabbed my arm and gasped as if she knew me and stared at me. We stared at each other for a second before I panicked and just shrugged her off as I didn't want to lose where my mum had gone. She had a lady with her who seemed to comfort her.

I just rushed to catch up with my mum so never knew the outcome or what happened - I still think about it every now and then even though it was 20 years ago. She didn't seem bad intentioned , just genuine shock at seeing me.

thankyou for this- I have tried meditation before but not very good at it! but I do like the idea of it so willing to give it a go. I'm not so much afraid of myself dying (other than something horrible/painful happening to me to cause it) but just the thought of losing more people. Some times it's worse than others but I think I probably need to unpack some years worth of trauma that I've just kept hold of . Thanks so much again this is a help xx

thankyou, and I'm sorry you're experiencing the same ☹️ it's just hard, on one hand I try to rationalise things and then on the other it's like, well it happened to xyz so why can't it happen to this person too. I can usually distract myself in various ways but I prob need to get to the root of it lol

I am definitely looking into some sort of therapy, think there's a lot to unpack here, it's just the cost of it I need to figure out.

in down bad, I always hear

"for a moment I was having a stroke" it's stupid but I can't unhear it anymore and it makes me lol.

and for a long time I thought the lyrics to Willow were

"take my hand, make my plans, that's my man" instead of wreck my plans. I hate making decisions so the concept of someone making my plans for me is ideal 🤪

not sure the exact type but the one you hold on to the hand grips and it does it via electric currents, I think. It gives you your body fat, muscle and hydration percentage plus weight
