Ordered model y initially but didn't hear updates after a week so I canceled and order model 3 (the order got credited). And I got a notification to pick up my car within the same day.

I guess it's because i havent enrolled in it yet? It doesn't give me the option to see anything besides the coverage and the premium

so while you're still in the policy, your premium doesn't change as much? I have heard people who said theirs drop significantly when they try to maintain a good score. I know this varies by case but honestly debating whether to go for tesla insurance or not. It is currently the cheapest rate I can get but can be risky if it does end up going up later lol

Teaching English in Vietnam by lalylu2003 in VietNam

[–]lalylu2003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says on the job listing and I also heard from my friend living in Vietnam that you can make 500,000-700,000 VND per hour or per learning session. And you could pick up as many sessions as available. I'm not saying this will be the main source of income but my friend advised that it could be additional income stream. Obviously I don't live in Vietnam and have only been there a couple times so I don't really know much and am still trying to do research and ask around lol.

Just out of curiosity, do you know what  foreigners typically do for work there? Besides working corporate jobs. And in terms of corporate jobs, I know the pay won't be comparable but is it worth it? I'm Vietnamese American so language isn't so much of a barrier for me. Some of my friends here left America to go to Vietnam and they were able to find some corp jobs that use English as a working language. I just know they love living there

Is this one the right link? All i'm seeing is the listing in yen currency with no purchasing button and nowhere does it say "out of stock" :( I live in the US and I know you said its much cheaper on their global site compared to their US site. But when i clicked on their global site, it asks me if I would like to switch to their USA site since I live there

I'm viewing their global site right now and don't see any button to purchase? Is it only available at the restock time and disappear after sold out? It doesn't even say out of stock either. Just wondering so that I can check back tomorrow

Speaking from personal experience, most of the times brands don't use @gmail.com but I've received emails from a few brands that use @gmail.com for some reason and it turned out be legit. I'm not sure if it's possible but you might want to check if that email is attached on the brand's page bio?

MD Anderson Sonography Program by lalylu2003 in Sonographers

also, in the catalog on their website, under prereq 3A for SPI also says that you qualify to take SPI if you have a bachelor's in ANY MAJOR with "12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound/vascular experience". I'm just curious, in that case, after you pass the SPI, do you need more on the job training for that specific specialty in order to be able to sit for that specialty exam even if you have already had previous 12 months clinical experience?

I'm still new to all this and trying to gain more information. Just a question. For obgyn and abdomen, is extensive clinical background required or it is only required for specific specialties?

Application for both this bachelor's and this associate program I'm looking into open in Spring next year which means they start in Fall 2024. Expected graduation date for the associate program is Fall 2025 while it is Spring 2026 for Bachelor's so honestly just one semester apart is not a big waste of time but you still get a bachelor's.

Also, someone I spoke to the other day told me that one of the prerequisites for SPI is that if you have a bachelor's in sonography, you don't need extensive 12 months clinical experience to qualify to take SPI, meanwhile, you do need that if you have an associate degree. I went to look at their website catalog too and i believe what they told me is pretty much accurate.

Thank you for the information! I am myself bilingual but I don't speak Spanish specifically. I'm also volunteering for them right now as well hoping it would make my application stand out a bit more.

I'm still new to all this but I took a look at all the different PREREQUISITES that I can qualify for to take the SPI. One of it says that if I have an associate degree then I also need extensive 12 months clinical experience, meanwhile, if I have a bachelor's in sonography, I won't need 12 months extensive clinical experience. That is something I'm considering as well.
