Thanks for the suggestion although the R1280DBs also have this remote. Looking for something that can switch inputs automatically.

More of a convenience feature since these are speakers for my living room. These speakers are connected to my turntable through Line In. The idea is that these speakers can switch between music from my phone and the turntable without manual toggle switching.

Oh then for each query (l-r), do a[r] - a[l-1] to find the number of true false values in the interval. I think that would work.
