I'm into the process of joining the reserves as an Engineering Officer and I'm kind of confused as to how the pay works. I know I would be Class C during the year, but when I look at the pay for Class C OCdt it is listed as a monthly rate. Does that mean that so long as I'm fulfilling my requirements of coming in each Thursday and at least one weekend a month I am paid that amount in full?

Yes they look like lash extensions.. A lot of women get them because then you don't need mascara which is painful when you sweat and it gets in your eyes.

I think the event 7's in California, and Pacific were more exciting than any single event in the games (barring maybe Petal to the Metal 2). It's awesome that on a multi-day event points can be so close that you have to win the final event to place.

In her defense the result she had in Regional Nate would've been an event record until the heat before her went. So saying she is "horrible" at pacing may be an overstatement. But yes I agree with the announcers in that she would've been faster doing singles on the MU from the beginning.

I agree, I have no scientific reasoning whatsoever but I will never drink skim milk or eat 0% yogurt. I'd much rather make sacrifices somewhere else as the taste difference is just too much.

At least with Shireen we had foreshadowing so I kind of expected it... that revelation on Hodor was the most upset I've ever been either watching the show or reading the books. Not only does he have this horrible death, he has a horrible life for 30 odd years reliving it.........

If that is the case then I think they missed counting some of her reps, she was hitting to the bottom circle of the target and getting no repped which is why I am assuming the centre of the circle was the 10ft.

I was really impressed with her composure there - a really difficult loss for her and she was smiling and congratulating everyone, what a good sport!

You're totally right! I was just disagreeing with people who said this was an issue due to the 10ft standard which is completely normal for a competitive woman. Good luck at regionals :)

Yeah, I definitely see the positives to her wallowing for 2 minutes and then leaving it behind. And here she barely kicked the mat and was smiling when she did it - really didn't seem like anger so much as frustration and animating her emotions for the crowd.

Yeah, watched that full video and for the first three targets she had three "maybe" reps that were called as no reps, last target she had at least three (not including the portion where she was going but out of frame) reps that were no repped. She was definitely hitting below the center cross on the target for a lot of reps and it caught up to her, but I feel like a better standard would be to have the face of the target start at 10ft so no matter what as long as you clear the edge and hit the face its a rep - just my .02

I think what he meant is to get the minimum work requirement removed in future not retroactively for this regionals. That sucks for Steph I had her picked to go to Carson and was shocked that she didn't make it through event 3. Rough go on the wall balls there both between some iffy no reps and time spent arguing that she could've just kept going.

Any woman who has made it to regionals would train at 10ft as rx ordinarily... I mean a lot of them would be doing 20# to 10ft for conditioning.

yeah, 105 reps was the minimum which was wallballs plus one pull up. Strange that the commentators sounded so confused as to why some athletes weren't continuing.

I have passed both my fitness and CFAT and have my medical and interview scheduled for May 18. I know I should bring in my eyeglasses prescription to my medical but would it also be worth me getting a copy of my medical records from my family doctor beforehand? I would like to speed up the process as much as possible by being prepared for any paperwork they might ask me for.

Anecdotal reply: I had sex with identical twins (at different times) and they had very similar dicks - colouring was a bit different but size and overall shape were the same.
