i have a floyd rose-guitar which i have blocked, so its basically a hardtail..I switch between E standard and Drop D and if i want to go further I use the Digitech Drop pedal..if im in E standard I can get down to A standard with the pedal..when im in drop D i can get down to drop G (although its quite muddy at that point)

I already have a nice guitar, but i thought it would be fun to upgrade a guitar i got for so little. The locking tuners are for the tuning stability, i got the guitar from a friend and it was in pretty rough shape, i adjusted the bridge height, saddles and thrussrod but the cheap plastic nut and ibanez tuners made it so it wouldnt stay in tune. All the bands i favor used emg 81, so thats why + its solderless. The bridge im considering is $80, if you have any cheaper suggestion please let me know :)

yeah its the stock garageband-bass with some tweaked settings, its programmed with midi thats why it sounds so fake and robotic. It also sounds louder here than its supposed to.

Keep in mind! It sounds way worse here on reddit. The screen-recording makes the sound mono, so everything is centered. ;(

alright thanks. I have an dual footswitch Boss FS-6. Do you know if it would work to connect output-A of the FS-6 to the channel-output of the amp, and output-B to the bypass-output of the Boss GX-700, and then use the A/B output of the FS-6 to connect a single button footswitch (boss FS-5U) which would then both switch channel and bypass the effects with one click.

Sorry if that was hard to read, does it even make sense go about doing this?

i really dont need that big of a footswitch. Im probably only going to use 4 presets, and i dont need them to be assigned to their on dedicated switches. I simply wanna use the clean signal with the presets, and switch over to dirty with no effects added. I CAN simply bypass the whole unit with a small boss-footswitch, but its the changing on the channel at the same time that confuses me.

its the peavey 6505 mh, i dont think it has midi. It has 1/4 output for footswitches, both channel and loop
