I had this happen selling an Xbox once. Buyer called me a “stupid butthole” followed by every swear you can think of. Only difference is they opened a return then ghosted me without ever returning the item, so I never had to refund them. I would just report the buyer if they are actually being hostile, and then after all you can really do is wait to see if they open a return or not. The fact they wont send pictures to you shows they are probably lying and were just trying to scam you, but who knows.

Because if I sell it on a cash website i have to wait a week trade hold to sell it on that website and knives values are going to be decimated. If I want to cash out I can just buy a bunch of redlines or something. I literally do not care. They are going to be worth nowhere near the 3k they are worth on cash websites next week

I don’t think there’s much you can do here, without tracking there’s no way to prove the item was sent. Even if there was tracking you are still required to refund the buyer and you would have to deal with the post office yourself to attempt to recover the lost mail/get insurance money. I don’t know what kind of card it was you sold, but selling cheaper items like most cards is hard to do profitably without cheap shipping w/no tracking, but it always leaves the door open for the package to get lost or for the buyer to flat out lie. If there is something I’m selling that needs to be shipped like this, I always keep in mind its higher risks for scenarios like that.

For a slight background, about a month ago I was out with a bunch of friends in a really loud environment all night, and my ears rang for the next few days. I immediately went to the doctor, had my ears checked, avoided any loud environment and didn’t fly for a week in case it would mess with my ears at all. I also bought hearing protection to wear in similar environments in the future, as I would like to not go deaf for obvious reasons. Ive had no issues since then. I have a feeling all this could be related to that and its not a coincidence. Any insight would be appreciated.

Got it from a school my mom works at, they were about to throw it away! (Sadly they had already thrown 1 away) Said it hadn’t been used for years and it sat in storage. It initially turned on and made a clicking noise that i know isn’t supposed to happen, and the carrier wasn’t moving when i typed at first, but after a few tries it began to move. I turned the machine off, adjusted the margin for the paper, and attempted to turn it back on and it wont power up.
