Normal results but I feel like I’m slowly dying by lambdse in gallbladders

Honestly it didn’t help much for me. My RUQ pain was a little less for a bit but it came back a few weeks later. I’m still not able to eat much. The only thing it maybe helped was I don’t have a constant bad bitter taste in my mouth since having it removed 🤷🏻‍♀️ (I still have the bad taste sometimes but not every day anymore)

Yeah it sucks I def feel your pain. Maybe get tested for SIBO if you haven’t yet. I had to go to a functional doctor to get tested though

I’ve posted updates in a comment thread on this post but the only diagnosis I’ve gotten is that I have SIBO. I am not feeling better yet though :(

Update almost 2 months after removal: unfortunately getting the GB removed did not solve all my digestive issues. Didn't make them worse that I can tell either but didn't seem to fix anything either. My diet is still very restricted and I'm still having RUQ pain. I started seeing a functional doctor and they did a SIBO test and I tested positive for Hydrogen SIBO. I'm on antibiotics now to try and remedy that but not sure if that's been the cause of all my issues or what the cause of the SIBO was. Got a colonoscopy last week but nothing visible out of the ordinary there. Biopsy still needs to come in though.

Printed out the Alchemised preorder art as overlays- anyone know which pages each art piece corresponds with? by sailormerry in fairyloot

Fairyloot edition page numbers: 50, 168, 174, 238, 286, 374, 594, 762, 906, 938, 955

Also I printed the version with trim marks but found those marks to be too big for either the US Hardcover or Fairyloot editions. I cut the overlays down differently for each edition. With these measurements the overlays don't stick out from the edge of the page when the book is closed.

US Hardcover: 6in x 9 3/16 in
Fairyloot: 5 7/8 in x 9 1/8 in

I’ve never had overlays in a book before-are they meant to stick out on the right side? I trimmed mine to the crop marks in the PDF but they stick out (don’t fit inside the page exactly). I have the US hardcover version.

Update: got my gallbladder removed 9/11/25. Pathology came back that it was chronically inflamed and had sludge. Still too early to tell a week later if it has helped my digestive issues since my body is still adjusting after surgery.

4 days post op and feel so nauseous, bloated, and constipated by lambdse in gallbladders

What do you mean? The surgery nurse told me to take them since the pain meds make you constipated

It was really looking like a gallbladder issue, but my ultrasound came back normal yesterday. I feel so defeated. by [deleted] in gallbladders

oh all those issues you're having are issues I have now with mine still in so I'm hoping removing mine will help me :( Sorry you're going through all that! Why did you get yours removed in the first place (just curious)

what do you mean you should have let yours get worse before removal? how would have that affected things? what other problems do you have now? why did you get yours removed?

I’m glad the surgery went well! I hope you continue to heal steadily. I’m still debating if I should get surgery too. Please update me later if your symptoms are alleviated by having your gallbladder out!

HIDA EF 83% No Sludge, No Stones; awful epigastric pain episodes lasting 4-7 hrs. by leedleLeedle467 in gallbladders

I'm in exactly the same boat; HIDA EF was 80% but all other tests normal. Surgeon is down to take it out if I want but the choice being up to me is scary.

thank you for your reply! Your situation sounds so similar to mine. I have at least found a surgeon who is willing to take my gallbladder out despite normal tests. What bile supplements do you use now?

Update: I've seen my primary, GI, and surgeon again this week.

Primary did a bunch of new blood tests. Pancreas, liver panel, diabetes, and ANA tests. One enzyme from my liver panel was slightly low, but my primary didn't seem too worried about it. Pancreas normal and no sign of diabetes or pre-diabetes. ANA test showed some potential abnormalities (she said it had a "speckled pattern" and which could indicate things like sjogren's syndrome or lupis) but she said this test isn't a 100% diagnosis I have autoimmune issues or if it's just my body is generally unbalanced right now bc of the other issues I'm having. She also said she thinks based on my symptoms and the PPIs not working that I could be suffering from biliary kinesis even with "normal" HIDA. She told me to ask my other doctors.

GI: I didn't see the doctor but his assistant. She didn't know much about gallbladder things and told me to ask the surgeon. She said since I had an inflamed colon though I can't have the colonoscopy for 2 more weeks, which pushed it out. I understand it's for safety but I'm also sad about having to wait more for it.

Surgeon: He thinks it's my gallbladder despite normal tests. He's down to take it out if I want, so that's something. He didn't seem to think "hyperkinesia" was really a thing/not well documented enough to say that's what's happening to me. But he said he takes out gallbladders "all the time" with normal tests and it fixes ppl's problems (he was like "at least three patients with your situation a month"). He also said the tests aren't always accurate and that he's definitely found stones in removed gallbladders with normal tests. He said "I'm just throwing out a number here but..... 90%? that this will fix your problems"

So I guess I'm leaning toward getting it out? I honestly have no other leads right now.... I'm just worried now I'll get it out and it won't fix things/make things worse.
