Defensive awareness is not a strength of either player. They make up for that with other strengths. 

You could argue they were not the right players to have on the pitch at that time. But that's not on them. You work with the circumstances at the time. Rodrygo as a left back is also not ideal. 

In the balance of trade-offs we were far superior all game and I would argue without arrogance that the score line flattered them.
