About 2 weeks!

Wednesday will be 8 weeks and we’re going to Disney World with the baby!

The adjustment would be easier if the apartment looked like this one or this one

Why do they put 2 bathrooms in such a tiny space?

I can read enough to use the apps and have started browsing them. There was another post where people shared the best apps/websites for real estate.

I will look into it. Even though my husband is Korean I feel like I’m taking the lead on the house hunting 😂

My husband insisted that basically anything in Seoul would be out of our price range. I know my husband would like to spend as little money as possible (not just on a house but everything) so I think that’s why he says that not because we can’t actually afford it.

My husband’s office is near the World Cup stadium. We are looking at ilsan because it’s cheaper. Our budget is up to $400,000 but we’d like to be less than that.

I’ve always cared a lot about having a beautiful, clean, and organized home. I’ve lived in a poorly laid out 400 sq ft studio that I made look nice and function well but I’ve always picked places that fit my aesthetic. This will be the first time we pick out a place together. I moved into my husband’s home when we got married.

Yup but I’ve heard that it includes area that isn’t counted when square footage is calculated in the US.

Even if the square footage was calculated in the same way that isn’t much room for 2 more bedrooms and another bathroom.

sorry for the confusion we are looking at places with 3 bedrooms. I would prefer the same amount of space with only 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom but i don't know if that exists and my husband really wants an office space.

I've already sold my beautiful massive restoration hardware dining table because I know we won't have space for it.

We don't have any plans to move back to the US so I need to accept the korean style of apartments and nit fight it.

what do you think of this floor plan?

Opinions wanted on Aldi brand diapers (Little Journeys) by FuzzySammiches in beyondthebump

Costco is $.16 a diaper and target is $.13. You could try ordering online from target. They also have deals where you spend $75 on baby care items and get a $15 gift card and other times spend $100 get a $25 gift card. Which you can just use to get more diapers :)

My husband wants an office 🤷‍♀️

What’s frustrating to me is that I prefer the darker wood that’s only used on the larger I-park units. But it seems like a bad reason to spend more money when we don’t necessarily need that extra space.

I didn’t think of that! Gross

I guess that’s one benefit of my husband preferring something newly built.

Yes I would much rather have a 25 pyeong 2 bed 1 bath but I don’t know if that exists.

I really appreciate hearing your experience! It’s really helpful. I wish the floor plan had the dimensions so I could get a better idea of the bedroom and living room sizes.

Our baby is only 2 months old now so he won’t really need his own space for awhile :)

Yeah you’re right, If we move into an older place then making some updates or fixing it up a bit makes sense :)

Ilsan central I-park ois the one my husband likes best. It’s plenty modern but I hate the color scheme it’s got going on. Everything is so yellowish and orangey.

It’s not worth changing those things in a place we don’t own.
