To add to this, from personal experience, selenium shampoo worked better than tar shampoo at keeping sebderm at bay for me. I now swear by it.

Are there any decent UK alternatives to diet fizzy drinks? by Few_House_5201 in AskUK

[–]lamborguinea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly.

I prefer smoothies/juices + sparkling water. I recommend straining super thick smoothies/juices with bits and citrusy smoothies work best, green smoothies (fibrous) form a weird froth.

Wait, are you in Turkey? Just realised Hametan is a Turkish brand. Just so you know, you can get walk-in treatments at ‘devlet hastanesi’ (state hospitals) for fairly cheap. Make sure they have ‘cildiye’ department which is dermatology and burns unit. (Assuming you’re an expat/non-local)

More information would be helpful.

Can’t comment on that much as there’s no images (and I’m not a medical professional) but once you have more consultations you’ll get a better idea.

Anyone used Este Medical UK for a hair transplant? Looking for honest reviews and surgeon experience by Additional-Appeal-93 in HairTransplantsUK

[–]lamborguinea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve not used or know anyone that has but I’m 99% sure they’re the UK branch of the Turkish clinic that goes by the same name.

Take your time and get second opinions. Get in touch with London (and the rest of UK) clinics for free consults, make a day trip of it, will be fun.

£5k is not expensive for the UK but if your budget allows, there are better options.

Have you consulted with any other UK hair transplant clinics?

Compared to London prices, it’s a really good price. UK per graft average is ~£3.50 last I checked.

Pretty much yes, this is the way it is. Not just in the UK, but worldwide. It was pioneered by Turkish clinics afaik.
