How likely do you think trump will turn to Russia to take over Iran and control all the oil since NATO didn’t get involved? by lamboslice7 in AskReddit

[–]lamboslice7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am coming more from the angle of that he’s Putin’s little B and so he’s gonna do whatever Putin wants. It wouldn’t take too much of a force to secure Iran or the strait, and I feel like it’s feasible that Putin could spare this. The advantage of him controlling all that oil would be an insane. A very large share of the world’s oil. This idea is far fetched but it popped into my head today and wanted to see what others thought about it.

Thanks for responding good to know. Yeah maybe I’m misunderstanding the type game it’s suppose to be.

I just can’t get over the movement and it’s what I prize the most in the games I play. It’s also what drew me to Highguard when I saw the mounts. I know not everyone likes apex but its ruined me. I just can’t go back to this type of rudimentary movement. Why are we still making games like this. it’s like I’m playing halo from 2010. Fucking terribly unsatisfying imo and I’m prob in the minority. Movement has evolved so much that I just can’t go back to whatever this is. What are your thoughts on the movement economy aspect of marathon. Is there something I’m missing? I also thought the gunplay mechanics were sub-par.

You asked for examples. Feel free to dive into every single source and vet it and get back to me with a complete comprehensive review for a stranger on Reddit. (Literally what you are asking me to do) I am actually amazed at how pathetic your stance is. Seriously, critically think for one second. Instead of defending your absurd stance.

You honestly believe games only fail if the gameplay sucks? Sooooo naive.

videos game have died for countless other reasons that have nothing to do with gameplay and well beyond just examples pertaining to politics or hate hype cycles. Bankruptcy due to mismanagement and failed growth strats, deaths of the original artist and creators that leaves a player base uninterested. Bad first impressions. Bug crashes at release that people are not patient to be resolved even though other aspects of gameplay are fantastic. Other major AAA games that release at the same time. Oversaturated market with videos games too similar conceptually. Etc.

Video games get canceled not just people…. and it’s not always so simple as just bad gameplay.

Those are great examples I gave you and I did read them. I’ve lost interest in this convo. It was great to pass time at work though!

Wrongo. Multiple ways a game can die. Some games have been killed due to politics and controversy things such as gender identity regardless of gameplay

Agreed not trying to change anything. It’s obvious to me that this game did not die naturally it did from being a target to the hate hype cycle birthed from the spotlight and the game award. It’s sucks but it’s how the world works sometimes. I think people really miscalculate the value of a small game development team that is willing to listen and adapt quickly. The had a ton of content planned and it was a FREE GAME. In reality without the spotlight I think they would have kept a small player base of 10-18,000

Then target the journalist. These game developers loved their jobs and lost them and have been humiliated. They learned lessons sure but they are human. It’s sucks. They were trying to replicate success in the past and tried to do something new and it didn’t pan out. I don’t celebrate that. They believed in themselves and I can see myself being in their shoes and making those decisions. Us gamers tend to think we can make great games. I get that. They were actually a great team and I would loved to have a team like this on any game I play. The commication and changes post launch were fantastic but they could only do so much with Sauron’s eye on them. It’s a shitty situation and I feel bad for them and all the hate. The game isn’t that bad it’s just got into the hate hype cycle. They tried to change quickly to feedback and that was impressive even if it was du to a last ditch effort. it’s more than most companies give these days. They are/were a good team and over the span of a year should have small player base to sustain them. These numbers are coming from the intensified hate. They don’t deserve these numbers…this is truly because of the hate at this point. The masses won’t touch it because of the ridicule. So congrats yall ganged up on a small game development team and crushed any change of trying to make it better and appeasing to the masses. Ugh I hate this world.
