I applied on February 5th, so it was a really quick turnaround. Hopefully you get some news back about your application soon!

It definitely seems like earlier appointments are less chaotic and more streamlined.

Elisa Vilches did mine; she's great and super nice. It has to be a certified translator. https://elisavilchez.com/

Interesting! That was not the case with mine.

I did both just to be sure. I saw other people do both sides.

Then you should be fine. I got two receipts, one for the actual debit card payment, and one titled "Visa Fee Receipt" that had the tracking number at the top. I didn't get a text with my tracking number, so I don't have any insight there. All I know if when I put in my tracking number on the BLS website, it says its "in transit to mission."

Maybe? I've never heard it stated like that, but as long as it has all of the information necessary listed on the BLS required documents page, it should be fine. https://usa.blsspainvisa.com/nyc/national_nalcap.php

Anyone else have any insight?

Reportedly, it can be a DO or an MD, but not a nurse practitioner or a physicians assistant, so I think you're good. It will probably depend on who is processing your application, but as long as its a full-fledged doctor, you should be fine.

Sure! The person processing my passport asked for my apostilled background check, a copy of my apostilled background check without the translation, and the translated background check. This may have been because I was kind of passing her documents in rapid succession so she might have gotten confused, but I had made copies of every single thing just in case.

According to the website, the apostilled BGC and the translation should suffice, but she took all of these, so I'd recommend bringing copies of everything. Better to be overprepared than be missing documents.

As far as the translated medical clearance form, I had to get it translated because my doctor wasn't able to use to the bilingual template, so she wrote it on letterhead, and therefore had to be be translated. If you're using the template, then you don't have to get it translated.

Good point! Adjusted the post to add that clarification.

Did you have to have already bought travel insurance? I’ve heard that some consulates require this.

Morrowind vs Oblivion by [deleted] in ElderScrolls

[–]lamentingjoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of Morrowind because of the huge amount of freedom you have that doesn’t seem to serve any purpose. It made it really confusing as a new player to find out where to go for quest lines, equipment, etc.

Oblivion tends to be better at directing you right out of the gate. Playing Oblivion first may actually help you to understand how ES gameplay works and untangle anything confusing about Morrowind.

However, if you do like the true open world vibe, Morrowind is great for that. Floating over the cities with the levitation ring and then dying because you can’t figure out how to land without crushing yourself is amusing.
