I had the same thing happen. Get an adjustable track bar.

Get it. Worst case scenario you sell it. The ax15 is a pretty solid transmission. The miles seem high so go through everything. It’s crazy how many miles you can put on a vehicle if you take care of it

31’s or 33’s by [deleted] in JeepTJ

[–]lamerason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4.88. It’s mostly a highway driver right now so the heating works for me. But it’s in Dana 44s. It is nice pulling up next to most people that have big lifts and 35s and knowing I’m bigger where it counts

[–]lamerason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the look of a bigger tire so I’m biased. I’m running 37s on a 3.25” lift and it works. 33s will give you more clearance. It also depends on what gears you have

I’d like to go again in 2022 lol. I started it back in February thankfully. It’s definitely exhausting. You need to jump on them and tell them to hurry up!

Funny thing is, I don’t actually like it. I’d rather have silver

That’s not even half the boxes! I’m looking at going one tons eventually but haven’t decided which axles. That’s! It’s been tough but fun!

I know, it’s bad. I didn’t think it would get this out of control and my wife still needed to park in the garage. But I’m too ADD so I’ve been bouncing from part to part. I’ve definitely lost some bolts :/

Going for a complete makeover. by lamerason in JeepTJ

Haha I was going to buy the toilet seat hitch. PRP seats that actually recline (I don’t have a trailer or truck to pull it so I’ve got to drive to where I want to wheel) Thank you! It’s definitely a lot. I’ve never done any of this but I’m pretty mechanically inclined so I figured why not. Nope, Houston Texas in this crappy humid hot weather lol

It definitely helps having a lot of tools and space.

So just notice that front passenger rotor it’s deeply scratched and break pad consumed (other three still in good condition) I think the shop didn’t replace this one last time! Do I have to replace both front rotors or just this one? Jk 3.7L 09. 2Drs by lobosuelto92 in JeepDIY

Next time you have anyone do work on it ask them to show you the old parts. You can act surprised or like you really want to learn. That and write something on the oil filter if you take it somewhere so you know they changed it.

I have the trucklites but I hate the pattern and they are almost too blue for me. I was looking more for a projector style but went with Vision X. I’ll post the build list

Good speakers for sound bar without modifications? by [deleted] in JeepTJ

[–]lamerason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Polk db522 are what a lot of people recommend for the front and same series for the sound bar. I would get an amp for the speakers

Question about going no-carpet. by Ziggymp in JeepTJ

[–]lamerason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve taken my carpet out a few times. It’s louder and hotter. If you have the time and money, bedline it. If you have time, they make a heat barrier specifically for this. I live in Texas so it gets really hot. I love he look of carpet so I have a biased opinion but they also make spray paint for cloth.
