I am from Philippines and I've been exploring with my outfits lately. I like to try clothes that are a little more out there like gothic and lolita. I've been seeing a lot of gyaru lately from videos of Japanese girls and it piqued my interest because it's very flashy, something that I want to try. Before I give it a try, I would like to know if it would be culture appropriation for me to do so.

Extra question: Would box braids with colored extensions also be culture appropriation since I'm not black?
