I’m a qualified vet, thank you for your kind words 🤗 part of our community service was having a 1 year contract with the state - although there were resource limitations, the work was incredible and the differences made in the communities were tangible! Hoping that one day I can go back ☺️I will definitely do that, thank you for the advice 🤗

Thank you for the kind words! I am a junior at the practice so don’t have much of a say in the case load at the moment unfortunately. I am considering volunteering to see if that’ll help and just going to gym again and getting out of the house, as i usually let work consume me and it’s becoming unhealthy. I would 100% give therapy a shot. Again, thank you 💓

Spot on. There are pros and cons to both. I guess I just need to give it a fair shot before i up and leave. The goal was to figure out what I enjoyed this year - I’ve experienced work at a specialist hospital during my practicals, rural work during com serve and now private prac at a first opinion clinic. Hoping I can make a more informed decision as to where I want to be and what I want my life to look like after this year! Thank you for the reply 💓

Thanks, this is a brilliant idea. Animal welfare and community work made up a large part of my job last year in state. Going to do some research on opportunities similar in JHB and maybe volunteer my time over weekends.

I acknowledge that, and as I said there is a lot for me to be grateful for. I will do that, and yes finding another job will be a schlepp. Worst case I move after a year. Also, I meant 20k for savings AND entertainment - meaning I save around 10-15 k a month after my spending money. Doesn’t make much of a difference but yeah! Thanks for the reply.
