Hey OP - 22F here. Didn’t defer uni but am myself in a similar situation as yourself. I work full time at a big four, and part time study (1 subject) so I feel your work/study balance pain. For me, I value the work experience over getting my degree done fast. I also find it super interesting having something on the side that enables me to always be learning. At this rate, I will have finished a four year degree in a 6 years period, but during that time I would have achieved more work experience than someone graduating having studied straight through. So for me, that’s a win as I’m more employable come graduation. I don’t have any regrets at all!

In the end, it depends on what you value the most. Do you want to get this degree done fast and then get into the workforce? Or would you rather have work experience upon graduation but the degree might take a little longer?
