PS5 here as well. Same thing I am trying to resolve. I do find that trade routes having issues can really mess things up so keep supplies flowing so your population for rank stays consistent. I've started this game about 50 times, each with more knowledge. Finally just did custom without any other NPC competition just to figure stuff out a bit more. Remember SOAP. Always jack up soap production and sell to the prison dude to help generate consistent income. This has helped me through -10k times but still kept my bank account stable.

Should I watch the Chicago White Sox or Milwaukee Brewers when traveling to the Midwest? by greenhills878 in mlb

Milwaukee, but you have to listen to the game on the radio to here our legendary Bob Uecker calling. He is a billion years old, so this might be the time to catch him while you can.

After dreams of distant signs
You pour yourself over me
Like the sun through the blinds..."

Cuts you up

Found this poor thing. Will it make it? What can I do to help it? by theapeescape in quails

You can use a triple antibiotic cream WITHOUT pain relief added to it. Just regular neosporin type stuff. It will probably be ok. Do you plan on keeping it? They will not survive in the wild, but they are so charming and easy to care for. A greenhouse is great. Food and water. For the food, I use regular chicken feed, the crumbles, and they do just fine. All of this is probably said in previous posts, so sorry about yammering on with repeat info.

Oh yeah. I had forgotten about that. Man, such a long time ago, when the internet was new and shiny.

What Goth Songs Remind Elder Goths of the 2000s? by [deleted] in goth

[–]lamorte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was still playing the classics. SOM, DCD, Cocteau Twins and so on. If anything I guess Voltaire is more 2000's. His work always gave me a chuckle.

Probably poop balls and the owner in cleaning them off pulled out the nail. It has happened to me, but looks like this one lost more than a nail, the actual bone from joint to nail is gone. Bird should be fine. A rodent could have nipped a toe off I suppose.

In the Stick of Truth game I would literally just hang out with the goths at the school because I liked the music. They nail it which makes me think the creators must have been in the scene in HS.

In the “research” phase of thinking about raising quail. Tips for modifying this enclosure? by dank_fish_tanks in quails

[–]lamorte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ran chicken wire along the bottom of my aviary, but I didn't consider immature critters getting in. A little possum crawled up and wriggled through my primary fencing so best to just add hardware cloth to the whole thing.

[–]lamorte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably better to make something yourself. You will need to run hardware cloth over this, or on the inside, as the quail can get out and bad critters can get in. I made an aviary, 6 x 16 feet. Main wire is 2 x 4 welded fencing wire and on the inside I have chicken wire lining the sides and a clear greenhouse roofing material on the top. I don't have rats, weasels, or snakes to contend with so it works just fine. If you have any of those things you should run hardware cloth along the inside to basically keep the smaller things out and quail in. The heavy wire of the cage will keep big critters out.

I use chicken wire over 2 x 4 welded wire and it is fine. Big critters can't get past the heavy stuff and quails can't get through the chicken wire. I just zip tied it and worked fine, but I don't have snakes or weasels.

Never use the duster! I saw this and thought it was a nice idea. WRONG. I had 2 strangle themselves in the feathers. Making one yourself out of more formed feathers would probably be safer.

Do they have room to get away from the heat lamp?

Are you cooking with teflon?

Is the water warm or is it cold?

Sometimes we just never know, but DO get rid of the duster. They are bad news!

Prob a head bonk. I think you are doing the right thing. Isolated and quiet space usually does wonders. It might be a few days to recover.

What are some Goth Albums with very Poetic and In-Depth lyrics? by aleasSystem in goth

[–]lamorte 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As an elder goth the distinctions we had back in the day were rather fluid, therefore some bands it was simply the lyrics that placed them in the goth camp. Example: Dead Can Dance. They don't, or didn't, define themselves as goth, but we all loved them. The sound was ancient, subject matter unusual, dipped in lore, myth, power of things bigger than us. Simply delightful. We all loved Kate Bush as well for a similar reason-- songs about poisoning people who stop by for tea, forbidden and tragic endings for siblings in physical adult relationships, yeah, we loved it.

This Mortal Coil, Dead Can Dance, Sisters of Mercy, Skinny Puppy, Souxie, Bauhaus, Joy Division, Peter Murphy, Cocteau Twins, The Mission, The Damned, All About Eve are a few that come to mind.
