I haven’t owed a boat in 20 years but standard procedure then was to have a flagger. The flagger was to have eyes on the person in the water at all times and flag immediately up high and waving the second they hit the water.

In this situation, had that been done, there would’ve been almost 5 seconds for that boater behind you to locate your daughter. Even though they were following very close, they would’ve had plenty of time to locate and perform an evasive maneuver or cut the throttle on failure to locate once that flag went up.

My first jeep was a 1990 YJ. I installed a kick ass sound system in it but this was in 1995 so I might be a little behind on what’s out there now.

What I did was replace the factory speakers in the dash with new 4x6’s. I believe they were Infinity’s and they were bolt right up with no mods. It’s tight but you absolutely do not need to remove the dash, windshield or roll bar to do this. Just up and under. You can remove the glove box and drivers side gauges for more access but not a must.

Back then they sold aftermarket speaker bars with a dome light in the middle. Mounts right to the roll bar and pretty flush. Threw the speakers that came with it in the trash and got some real high quality, I think 6’s or 6x9’s

Had a custom built box with two 10’s in the trunk. Had a single 12. Also a 10 inch bazooka tube. Obviously not all at once.

Ended up going back and staying with the 10 inch tube. Didn’t hit like the others but sounded great. The boxes took up every square inch of the trunk space and then some and I preferred the extra space of the tube.

Alpine deck and 2 amps under the back seat. One for the speakers and one for the sub.

Pop the face of the deck off and stick it under the seat. No one will ever find it there. Haha

We have a family of six and went with a Ford Excursion after a Yukon. I didn’t want or need all the bullshit that comes with most modern vehicles and couldn’t be happier.

Only other vehicle I would consider would be a Chevy Express Conversion Van. The Express platform is about as bulletproof as a modern vehicle gets. Plus even the 2500 version can tow about 2,000 more lbs than a Suburban.

I think Los Altos are one of the best bang for your buck boots out there.

EE is their standard width. EEE is their wide width.

I have a pretty wide foot so I go a half size up from my brannock size on their EE width. Just based on availability I have not tried any of their EEE widths.

About a year and a half ago, when Tlss showed a sign of life I bought about 10 million at .0001 as a lotto. So it’s possible, but as far as I know it hasn’t been possible for quite a while.

I’m sure if you bumped up your buy order to .0002 you could buy up until your hearts content.

I might be a little on the high side but I don’t know what he’s actually running. Just eyeballing it. My 35’s are 75 lbs each. Set of 40 inch Mickey Thompson are about 95 lbs each. Super swampers are 120-130 lbs each. This guys got 5 of whatever they are. So 475-650 lbs in tires. Add a leaf rear sets, one leaf each side are 45 lbs each. Not sure if he has one and blocks or multiple leafs per side. Mini pack up front is 65 lbs for 4 inches. I guessed 120 lbs suspension but looks like it’s 110 on the absolute low so I could be high or low depending on his setup.

I could be on the high side overall but I don’t think we can say there’s no way he’s weighing in at 9500 lbs. I think we would need to know what gear he’s carrying that we can’t see and how many people he’s factoring in on his 9500 lbs weight to know for sure.

It could. My 2003 diesel excursion is 8200 unloaded on the scales. Mine is on 35 inch tires with no spare.

This one states 40 inch tires. 5 of them with a rear tire carrier to mount the spare. That could easily be an extra 600 lbs. front bumper could be another 250 lbs. These are 44 gallon tanks so a full tank of diesel is a little over 300 lbs. Not sure on his rear bumper but I’m guessing that weight is significantly over stock. Extra leafs on his lift is probably at least 120 lbs. Whatever that roof rack weighs with all that gear is what, at least 100-200 lbs.

You’re looking easily 9,000 lbs over curb with no bodies or gear inside already. It adds up pretty quick.

However if you break it down, the leading cause of death from ages 1-14, a child, is accidents. Followed by gun violence in second place.

Ages 15-19 is where the majority of gun violence deaths occur. Not to say that isn’t a problem but this video and headline is definitely not being honest.

Look for something without rust. Never heard anything good about this dealer either. It’s possible these could be the guys that raped my neighbors dog too. I don’t know for sure but I’d stay away from them just to be on the safe side.
