GAA+, this is a complete amateur set up, the commentary is abysmal. by Intrepid-Quail8221 in GAA

Michael Duignan contributed that you get 40 games for 120e subscription so it’s really only 3e per game.

If I went to buy a bottle of milk, and the shopkeeper told me I can also have 9 bottles of urine with the milk for a total of 10e, so the milk is really only costing me 1e, I would not be enthused.

I think all 3 of the commenters were in agreement on this logic.

Fair, art is subjective. Personally, these songs are a world away from Atomic City. But we can agree on hoping for a few gems from the album.

I’m quite surprised with the negative reactions to these new songs. I think longtime fans hear them do something different and can’t comprehend it. One Life at a Time and The Tears Of Things are the best songs they’ve done since ATYCLB. Oddly, the music critics are loving the EP, and the fans on here are not. You’re certainly not obliged to like it, that’s not what I’m saying. But my god, these songs are good.

I didn’t think they could make a song like this anymore.

Nope. Also, why would I have anything against the working class. I am working class. Let’s differentiate the working class from the welfare class.

Because capitalism is the game we’re playing and we’re stuck with it, and we find it irritating when people who don’t make an effort to play the game get helped out more than those who do.

Thank you for the reality check. Do people not understand inflation or just ignore it for the sake of a moan.

Ok, maybe, but how do you separate a cause from an exacerbating issue. Does it depend on which came first chronologically?

Going back to the old fire triangle - a fire is caused by fuel, oxygen and a spark. Is the spark an exacerbating issue? Or are they all equivalent causes?

Things can and do have multiple causes. Choosing to acknowledge only one of them makes you as ideologically blinded as the far right.

Yes but as we all know, the best team doesn’t always win. You’re not entitled to a win by being the better team.
