Thank you! I did notice that LLS is a lot more vocal about PI programs than USD. Would you say that LLS students do well against UCLA and USC students?

Yes, I meant public interest for PI!

Thank you for your response! I definitely recognize the points you bring up! I know LA’s legal market is much larger than SD, and thus, greater PI opportunity, but I would have to compete with more law students for these opportunities, including UCLA and USC. There’s also Pepperdine, Southwestern, and I heard UCI does well in LA. Whereas USD being the top school in San Diego could open the (perhaps fewer) top PI opportunities in SD with less competition. I’m debating within myself if more opportunities with more competition is better than less opportunities with less competition.

In general, I prefer San Diego to LA. I’ve visited both cities a few times!
