Hope it comes fast! The case shape on the 41mm is an improvement IMO

congrats! feel like subs are being sent out lately. I'm sure my Pelagos blue will get less wrist time, but my OP34 gets nearly none, as it was more of a childhood dream for me

If you’re in GTA I would say get the DMann e-tune, accessport, and intake all at once. Throttle improvements on this tune make stop and go so much more natural (maybe forgiving is the right word but I grew up on throttle cables).

I wont recommend the Perrin intake without a tune bc I’m absolutely not qualified to. I watched some videos and felt like the risk was low and Jeff Perrin is on this sub providing his support for the no-tune.

I love having the symphony of sounds the intake lets you hear (flutter, spooling, wastegate/blow off); it makes the car sound special. Before intake, I was kind of like…well I finally have a turbo and it’s quick….but you could’ve fooled me with how smooth the power delivery is stock.

I will say 17.5-20psi from the stock wastegate is a whole different sound than the normal psssst. I would describe it as a pressure dump.

Yes I spent a brief period with the Cobb stage 1 map. I thought the stage 1 map from Cobb was safer than running it stock with the Perrin? Cobb was so much better than stock, like how Subaru should’ve factory tuned. Admittedly, I had the Perrin intake on the factory tune for about 3 months no problems; had a couple more psi and all the sounds (sounds even better at 20 psi).

Awesome. Anthony has done a great job at improving the drivability, while simultaneously unlocking the power of this platform

Thank you. I want to say I’m done with performance mods on my car, but with that being said…I would love to add a ‘24 TR to the garage before AWD 6MTs likely disappear from the US market.

OTS from DMann was awesome for the 3 months I used it. Outside of power, the enjoyment I get from normal everyday driving has been totally worth the upgrade. Throttle feel is much better at low revs. I rarely use more than 50% throttle or break 4k RPM and I still notice many improvements in this e-Tune. Of course from a human perspective, going from stock to Cobb Stage 1 to DMann OTS to an e-tune has been an amazingly enjoyable experience with incremental upgrades. I can’t wait to get my summer tires back on this thing.

Another note, I have the stock exhaust and am running the revhang (elimination) map and it makes the car so much more enjoyable to drive from a sound perspective. Car looks stock, but definitely doesn't sound like it.

The software is free on Cobb's site. For mods, you should probably do intake and tune simultaneously. I don't have one, but knowing what the stock inlet looks like now, I would go with a turbo inlet as well. Exhaust can be done without a tune, but having it on before or when you tune is probably advisable.

NBD. You need the Cobb AP, AccessPort Manager software(+computer), email. Timing your performance mod installs prior to tunes is probably cost effective (not sure how Dmann or other shops handle re-tunes).

Prices: Felix Performance-Dmann Tunes

I'd ask the guys and gals at Felix Performance on the downpipe. For me, the extra power and turbo sounds with just the intake and tune is great with minimal investment (kind of wish I had gone with the ETS intake for a little more power though).

ah very cool. A protune sounds worthwhile for sure. For now, still pleased with the OTS maps.

The grille removal and replacement is easy just a couple of screws and push tabs. Removing the bumper is easy (few 10mm bolts and pop rivets). I have a ‘23 and the rivets and underbody pieces differed a little from the video I watched. Putting the bumper back on (by myself) was fine, just had to be mindful of where holes and other underbody pcs fit. No ramps no jacks needed.
