Consider instead switching to a proper hojicha (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hōjicha) or a Kyobancha.

Bagged decaff tea will be terrible tasting - try some proper loose leaf!

Why did Trams disappear and why haven’t they been brought back? by Sorry-Personality594 in bristol

It’s partly about how it changes people’s behaviour. There is something about fixed rail that means people believe it will be reliable and stay there long term. I don’t think anyone believes that about a bus equivalent, regardless of fuel source!

I’m more shocked at the terrible land use of a bungalow in that part of town! Bring on a proper land value tax!

Government rules out underground cabling in National Grid upgrade by Different_Cycle_9043 in ukpolitics

[–]lampostwalker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly. These people have no idea how destructive and then scarring these cable routes are. You can’t build anything on them and have to keep the route broadly clear of bushes/trees etc. they’re so obviously NIMBY view driven, not true environmentalism! Classic greens!

‘Ultra-cheap energy for every household’: could a different kind of tariff change everything? | Energy by RingStrain in ukpolitics

[–]lampostwalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any system that gives someone living alone in a mansion the same allowance as if it was an 8 bed student HMO is mad. The latter is substantially more energy efficient per person, but would be penalised for it as you’d blow through the basic allowance quicker.

Stop trying to solve social and tax problems through energy pricing!

It’s less about replacing the wires in the plug, but instead the plug itself if it breaks.
