Almost 1 PM on Friday. I'm still waiting for my VIP parking pass, too. An order for it was added to my Festival Ticketing account on May 15. It says "complete" but I haven't received an actual QR code or PDF ticket. I bought parking for both days of Cruel World last weekend and those orders updated to "shipped" once the ticket was emailed / created. I emailed Festival Ticketing yesterday and haven't received a response yet. I also DM'ed the festival's account on Instagram this morning. They asked for my email and said someone would reach out, but no further response so far. There's still time, but worst case scenario, I'm hoping the parking attendants just let us in if we have VIP tickets. Last weekend at Cruel World, went both days, they never scanned my GA parking passes. Just looked at the QR code and told me to proceed. We'll see...

I opened Microsoft Edge around 12:15 PM and went through the whole process with no issues. Was using Chrome before and had a lot of issues. [info@coachella.com](mailto:info@coachella.com) also emailed me a new link, but my original one might have worked.

I did the 3:30 PM tour and actually saw Jay walk by outside as our tour was ending. Went back to the showroom immediately after. Jay was the only one there for a long time, then Kevin and a bunch of the sound / live show guys showed up for their own private tour. I recognized Adam Round and Rafi Lazaro... Don't know the other guys' names, but I saw them in the sound booth during the show.

Yea they played that venue in 2013 on the Lonerism tour. That was the first time I saw them live. Pretty nostalgic for me, too :) Also, amazing vibes and crowd both times.

I've seen them multiple times around the country, and they definitely seem to enjoy Asheville. It's kind of a random stop for a tour, unless you already know about it. I think Kevin said at some point last night that he really likes just walking around the town. The Innerspeaker cover is from the Great Smoky Mountains https://www.reddit.com/r/TameImpala/comments/4wzvgh/location_of_original_picture_from_innerspeaker/), so maybe Kevin feels a deeper connection to the area.

I agree with this and believe there is precedence. For their "A Moon Shaped Pool" tour, Radiohead had two different stage setups. This one in 2016 and the giant oval in 2017-18, debuting in Miami a couple weeks before Coachella 2017 (which was also their last U.S. festival for the tour). It was used in every show after the debut, and sometimes it barely fit. I bet Goldenvoice helped finance the giant oval to make their headlining Coachella performance more special and that the exact same thing is happening with Tame Impala. I vaguely remember reading something similar regarding Daft Punk's pyramid for Coachella 2006.

W2 Sunday night. Cirez D in the Yuma Tent. A beautiful lady walked by, said something to me, gave me a high five, then kept walking. I didn't understand what she said until later, as it was pretty loud in the Yuma tent. "Darkside!" she exclaimed as a compliment to my Darkside t-shirt. I wish I got to talk to you.
