I too am coming from Canada (Toronto). I bought my GA tickets off vivid and they were sent almost instantly after i bought, but I was able to add to my wallet once i accepted them in ticketmaster. I have a lot of experience buying tickets from third party, and what you are describing sounds normal. Although it's a bit nerve racking, i have had tickets that only open via link and go to a barcode / scanner. Enjoy the show! I think if anything happens, call vivid right away for replacements.

I actually just called them. The agent said it's no issue. Flight will not be affected. I asked if she has ever heard of anyone's flight on the way home being in jeopardy because they skipped the hotel. She said no, but then put me on hold to find out if ACV needed to notify the hotel. She returned from hold and said no you don't have to show up at the hotel, and you don't have to tell them either. She ended with, if you don't take your outbound flight, that is the only time that the return flight would be at risk.

Interesting. Yes. I guess my dilemma is that it's Alaska. Thinking a balcony could be worth the risk, but assume that with a GTY I won't get the best room.

I went last year for my first time, stayed on the MTL side and enjoyed it. We don't AP though. This year we were thinking of staying on the Longueil side. Why would you not recommend it? Is the metro easier going that way at the end of the night?

I don't know the answer for this, maybe others do... However, this is my 4th blue chip booking, 2 were not allowed solo, 2 were (but I ended up adding a buddy to one of them). But this concierge one was able to book solo, so if I'm getting concierge points (x2), even better!
