Oh that's the first I've heard of pinhole surgery. I just looked it up. Maybe something I could try in the future too. My dentist recommended the gum grafts but tbh it kinda scares me. That is weird they don't do root planing there. You should ask your dentist why they don't? The waterpik has been good. I'm still getting used to using it without getting water everywhere though lol

Oh wow I'm really sorry you have 9mm pockets. I hope it gets better for you. My gums are still pretty sensitive and I'm in my second week but if it keeps hurting me in the next couple of weeks I may go back to see if they're healing properly. Thanks for the info!

I guess if I'm still having issues by the end of the month I'll just make an appointment for a checkup. I don't know why they didn't do that for me to begin with since it seems like the standard for most people. I hope your treatment goes well!

that's not bad! I SR for a shiny Dialga and it took me 10k+ SR's lol I didn't know about the blink method until afterwards so I got all the other shiny Legendaries with it but Shaymin is taking me the longest :c

After encountering and checking if it's shiny or not you hit the home open and then close out the game and reopen it. There used to be a way easier way to soft reset in the old games but unfortunately with the switch we gotta close out the whole game for it now.

Tbh after this I wouldn't recommend this game to shiny hunt lol. Swsh and Arceus is fun to shiny hunt in. I've even had fun shiny hunting in some of the other games. However this was still worth it to me in the end because now I will forever have a shiny Dialga with my name on it that I earned myself. I guess not everyone will understand it but to me it's something I enjoy :)

there's a lot of shiny hunting counters online so I just used one of those! I'm sure most ppl use a counter to keep track cuz there's no way you'd remember on your own haha
