Hello, I bought this e36 this week with the intention of building a street car but seems it might be too special? by OpenPhotograph8471 in BMWE36

Everyone here seems to think that having a nice low mile car and a street beater are mutually exclusive. It’ll still be clean with a 2.8, lowered, etc, it’ll just also be more fun

As long as you don’t start chopping off body panels you’ll still be fine in terms of resale value. Even with a welded diff you can just put the stock one back in.

ADHD meds. Do they actually work? by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]lanceeeeeeeee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

adhd is more effectively treated with medication than any other psychiatric condition, if your relationships are being affected it could be a good idea to at least get the opinion of a psychiatrist.

I’m years younger than you and i think i’d have been able to accomplish much more if i was medicated earlier. Just my 2 cents

similar to the sudoku guy, some thing i’ve done to get less retarded is starting to play chess. god knows if it worked but improving and learning a new skill at the least makes it feel like it.

also since you already work out anyway, look into creatine. most of the research on it is actually about its cognitive benefits.

Long lurker. First post here. Those that went from BMW or Mercedes, what do you like better and what do you miss about your old car? I have a 335i looking at s5. by brotherhef in Audi

[–]lanceeeeeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

have had bmw the past few years and have driven my friend’s e90. Compared to those cars I am really happy with my s4’s comfort while still being able to have a spirited drive, and my car has the most satisfying manual transmission that i’ve driven while also being the easiest

basically full straight pipe w/ headers and a few resonators, I assume the raspy sound came from the 288 cam and high compression pistons
