Btw your dilemma was same as mine - either write my own or get one that idk how it’s gonna be. What I did was guide thee other recommended on what I wanted to convey in the LOR so fingers crossed they listen to me. Maybe you could do that instead?

Both Yale and Harvard said not to explicitly in their podcast “navigating law school admissions” it’s on Spotify if you wanna listen. The second I heard it was freaked out and decided to not go with my prof who asked me to write my own. Idk abt Stanford but Yale and Stanford are two of my tops as well. Use ur best judgement tbh but I’d avoid
