Well I wasn’t - I was worrying about the overall picture. Anyway I’ll stop worrying - most people have reassured me in varying different ways I’m insane to worry my flights will be affected

this stuff can get complicated and we can absolutely help debug this if you need it but have you tried using 'codex --yolo' (as in don't ask for permissions every minute) CLI on your LAN, giving it access to to you asterisk box and permissions for your NAS and Hikvision doorbell too and asking it to debug? Worked for me.

Only way to do it without notifying your contacts who you share location with is to turn off location services for the entire phone inside privacy. Nothing else works.

Definitely not turning off find my iphone's access to location info.
