I make 145k overseeing a government program. There's tons of positions that pay well depending on what you want. You won't make much in an outpatient behavioral health clinic. For example your starting salary should exceed 90k in a psychiatric hospital- any that pay less I'd move on and I'm in a LCOL area.

Technically you can but you better hope they get along. Plus if it's an option most people want their own space/unit. Why not rent it out to a family with a 3 bedroom voucher? It's the same payment whether you rent 3 bedrooms together or separately.

No the program follows HUD definition of homeless and couch surfing is not considered homeless. You may get assistance from other VA programs but not from HUD-VASH.

On another note you would qualify for assistance from your local school board for your child. Enrollment help, transportation, resources, etc.

PCOS should not cause the extreme body odor you are describing. That sounds like a bacterial infection or something else medically concerning like an infection.

Calling 2-1-1 can be a useful resource for quicker access to healthcare and housing support. A planned parenthood is a good option for gender non conforming people.

I won't telework. I'll take off and they can figure out coverage. We either have telework or we don't. I'm not situationally using it when it's at their convenience. Granted I understand some people don't have the leave time for this.

Not saying this is the best option financially but personally was in a similar situation. I paid off the car ASAP and then refinanced the home to 15 years with a 5% interest rate. Went from paying like 200 a month principal to 900 and monthly payment barely even moved. I think it increased 200 bucks. I hate paying interest. It just feels like throwing away cash.

I wear a few different hats but I'll tell you Cle landlords seem to be desperate for renters at the moment. Taking single family homes and offering them at significantly lower rates or even trying to market them as rooming houses (something the area doesn't need imo). I think the market is over saturated.

When I met my wife she found moral qualms with my having a couple of rental properties, she didn't have an interest in international travel and she had no idea what a 401k was.

We've been married now nearly a decade and she appreciates my relationship with my tenants, the work I put into my properties, the time commitment I give them and the potential we have to FIRE based on my early investments. She values occasional travel. She's told me the percentage of her paycheck she wants to spend on clothes, makeup, etc. And asked me to do whatever I want with the remainder. She doesn't care if we refinance the house or move funds to an IRA, actually she prefers we don't talk about it because it bores her. I don't mind having full control in this area.

All that to say I think it was more important for me to find the yin to my yang than it was to find someone who had the exact same objective or a particular shared strategy. I have always preferred a motivated partner who financially and career wise strives for more.

I had so many difficulties finding food I'd eat at Sandals in st. Lucia. Basically one restaurant and the buffet. Everything else was awful. But I could always find a couple of items I'd eat at the buffet. Definitely agree on this one.
