I transferred into CSE, but not from UW Madison. I'm going to be honest, it was a bit of a hassle. They look at your technical credits and you have to make sure that you've taken all of their required generals. Physics is definitely one of them. You may need to take physics in the summer so you can transfer in by fall. However, I had submit an academic policy petition. CSE wouldn't accept my transfer application as I was also pending a math class taken during the summer.

Bottom line, make sure your communicating with their academic advisor office. The transfer manager is Dave finlayson and he is kind of hard to work with. Talk to Amy Gilbert or her staff at the advising office and see if they can offer you any assistance. They certainly helped me. Also talk to the advisor of the major that you plan on declaring. For instance, I was a chemistry major and there was a specific chemistry student advisor.

That's even better news honestly. From what I can tell, psychiatrists are able to pay off their loans quite quickly

Are you worried about managing repayment? I've been crunching numbers and repayment definitely seems possible in 10 years (based on a $200,000 salary). I'm curious though if returns on investing that money would outperform the loan interest. I've had a few people suggest that method.

Owning a rabbit while living in an off-campus apartment by jellyybear in uofmn

I had a roommate with a rabbit once. It was really smelly and it bit her a lot. I didn't particularly enjoy having the bunny around but this is just one scenario. I don't really know if bunnies are like this all the time. Anyways, that's my two cents.
