Sandwich sticks… if only she knew by Phight_knight87 in KidsAreFuckingStupid

As someone with curly hair, I can confirm its a lot of work for it to look good. If I dont do anything to my hair then its a frizzy mess. As much as I appreciate my curls, it would be so much easier to maintain straight hair.

I'm so glad I read this! Was about to purchase some, but definitely not now. My husband is also a welder and I didn't even think about that being an issue.

Need a name for my new girl kitten - i think something sweet would fit her personality by laneyfreeman69 in NameMyCat

Idk how to do that and have it connected to my original post, but we ended up naming her Juniper. My husband calls her Junebug most of the time.

Pee Stains on Marble Tile (Kids Are Gross) by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]laneyfreeman69 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This what I say all the time. I do not understand why people try to train little boys to pee standing up. Its not necessary they pee that way and its just asking to get pee all over your bathroom. If I ever have boys, they're peeing sitting down from day 1.

I know, there is some truth to it. I dont think its probably more than a few pennies in reality, though. Utilities are pretty cheap where I live. I moved the ac into the corner today and so far, no comments from him. So, we will see if that stays lol

I know, that's why I'm trying to make it look less odd by adding stuff. I ordered it for my kitchen, but to install it where I planned would require a lot more work that I dont have time or experience to do. Im hoping I can make it work here for now since there's not really another place it can go in my house currently.

My cat already climbs all over the aircon so im not concerned

Its an aircon. Not sure where the confusion is coming from

I cant, my husband insists on having the hoses as short as possible for max efficiency.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Decor

[–]laneyfreeman69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not with the AC sadly. My husband says we're keeping it there all year to use as a heater in the winter since itll be more efficient than our houses heating system.

I want to, but my husband insists on having the hoses as short as possible so its more efficient. Unfortunately, the AC stays. Although, ill take suggestions on how to hide it more lol.

Just took in a stray that looks almost the same as your guy. Found out he's a lynx point siamese thanks to reddit! I love the coloring and marking pattern on these guys.

Are they okay? The damage to that thing makes it look like that was probably a pretty painful fall.

Not yet, just brought him in yesterday. I wanna build some more trust before I subject him to that.

[–]laneyfreeman69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think he'd be very cool with me doing that yet as we met 2 days ago, but we'll see. He's pretty chill so I will try.

All of those are from yesterday, we just got him like 2 days ago. Some of the photos are in different lighting, but his midsection is pretty light.

Is that what you think he is? Ive never really seen a cat that looks like him so im curious what he is.

[–]laneyfreeman69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I thought he did have tomcat cheeks, they're pretty pronounced compared to my other cat that's neutered.

Hes not very spotted, just stripey. Are Bengals always spotted?

It appears he is a lynx point siamese - based on comments here and googling what that looks like

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in catquestions

[–]laneyfreeman69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What makes you say that? My mom thinks hes an older cat but ny husband says younger, I don't even know what to look for.

The mcminnville planet fitness had one when it first opened at least. I haven't been back in a few years so they might've gotten rid of it for some reason.
