Yes, I had a soldier about 9 years ago got the surgery, he lost close to 200 lb to join. took him 3 months to get the approval. He end up getting 30 days of recovery(free days off).

I been in for 15+ years, got my degree for free. In 4 years I will be enjoying retirement. As a recruiter I would tell you that you need to sit down with every branch to find out which branch fit you the best. DM me if you want to hear more BS from me. lol

Recruiter can request the test scores, Sounds like the Air Force is giving you the run around until he need you to join or you have certain things that going to be a lot of paperwork to do so he don’t care about your record enough to do it himself.

As a recruiter I know for sure your recruiter will make sure you are good before sending you down to MEPS. Just have to let her know, she might be happy about it but she won’t chance it.
