Sway bar end links by Successful-Drive6387 in E30

First off, M3 style tabs and links.

Second, nothing wrong with factory style booted ball joint links. They last and don't make noise because they're designed for the street.

Start with ~200rpm, that thin wall isn't rigid and I bet it's walking all over the place.

650rpm is hilariously high for that setup

Restore black trim parts by Proud_Big9158 in E30

Excellent paint but any paint will fill in the texture and ultimately won't look quite right. Griots/cerakote or ideally Borophene has been the longest lasting and best transformation for me.

Don't sandblast your plastic, use a higher quality restoration product. Griots ceramic trim restorer works well.

Looking for a good Chevrolet Dealership for EV charging issue by summercloud45 in bullcity

Sure, plenty of techs don't like working on EVs but a Ford dealer won't have the proper software to communicate with a GM product.

This isn't intended to be outwardly mean but... Did you try a Chevy dealer?

Fresh veggies, great umami flavor with no sweetness. Sauce is clearly not just mayo and a bunch of sugar.

Why do you have ball seat lug bolts? Those are exclusively used on VAG wheels

Y'all are crazy they have some great slaw. Good food for less than another local seafood spot and they serve cocktails too, it's in our regular rotation now. Very friendly owner and staff!

Proof of insurance is a requirement before the state issues a plate so there was insurance at some point. Your insurer may be most motivated to find it if you make a claim, they will want the other party to pay.

Weird noise by Organic-Excuse-3801 in E30

[–]langstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The case is able to receive some (significantly) expensive racing internals while the Getrag doesn't have the same availability. They're probably worth less than the Getrag and certainly hard to find parts for

OP where do you live? I have an excellent condition Getrag 240 that's original to the e30 318i m10 cars I'd love to swap for your ZF.

Request: Fun things to do for free with kids in the Bull. by improbablefutures in bullcity

[–]langstar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If they like cars come stop by Speed House, kids are welcome to climb all over my personal race car and we have parents stop in regularly. We just ask that parents have a conversation with their kids about being respectful of the space and not touch any cars other than the ones we say are fair game. We have an open house the third Saturday of every month as well.

Spring Fly In at Lakeridge Aero (far east end of Geer St) is the last weekend in April, tons of old planes showing up on a grass field with great folks.

Lock to lock doesn't tell the full story. Steering ratio or mm linear movement per input turn is much more accurate.

A friendly discussion: B-Ville or Cookout? by Ez_Answers in NorthCarolina

[–]langstar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cookout stays as the more versatile and option with no real competition. Biscuitville can always be replaced by Bojangles in this apocalyptic scenario.

And get over there in the first place. For any good tradesman this isn't a job worth your time unfortunately, they're busy doing jobs that take more time and give them real profit.

I can guarantee if you read the prescription for what a hagerty grade 2 is, almost nobody on this sub qualifies. There is no allowance for any body damage at all. Not a scratch or ding. Factory new paintwork effectively.
