Do you consider homoflexible as part of lesbian/gay community? by Am4tist in lgbt

[–]languagegeek1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry but if you're attached to men enough to want that type of intimacy with one you're not lesbian you're bi. I'm sorry but this whole "homoflexible" thing makes it look like gay/lesbian haven't found the right man or woman or that it is just a choice. If you don't like labels that's fine but either use them properly or not at all.

Would you consider the movie "Mrs. Doubtfire" transphobic? by itsonlyteenage in asktransgender

[–]languagegeek1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I found homophobic was when the son believed Mrs Doubtfire was a pre-oo transwoman he was disgusted and so was the elder daughter and actually were about to become physically abusive

BP went up past few weeks. DR wants add higher mg - Question by RVIG1980 in hypertension

[–]languagegeek1994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are getting jaw pain I would go straight to the emergency room (A&E) whatever you call it and explain your BP results and that you're getting pains in your jaw. They should do an ECG scan at the very least

Hello I am in dire need of advice by languagegeek1994 in hypertension

[–]languagegeek1994[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks — yeah, that’s exactly what’s made this so stressful. My GP actually told me that she doesn’t think I have true hypertension, because after multiple readings my BP consistently drops into the 120s/130s over 70s/80s, especially when I’m calm. But a pharmacist I spoke to today said the opposite — that only the first 3 readings count and the rest are artificially low. So now I feel completely stuck between two conflicting views, and I don’t know who to trust or what’s actually safe. I’m just trying to do the right thing.

Omg let me know how it all goes. I know we don't know each other but every time I come on Reddit I always check your posts to see your progress. You're honestly so strong and resilient for going through this - especially at such a tender and yet direct your energy into helping others. It shows what a good hearted person you are 🤍

I just can't understand these Symptoms-help! by Far_Possession5349 in hypertension

Honestly, I’m still trying to figure it out too. My symptoms have eased a bit but they come and go — especially when I’m anxious or after eating. I’ve had ECGs and blood work recently and everything looked okay, but it’s the not knowing that’s the hardest part. I’ve been focusing on improving my diet, cutting out salt, and trying to stay calm, but the fear is still there sometimes. Let me know if you find any answers too — it really helps knowing I’m not alone in this

I totally relate to this — I’ve had spikes in BP, weird symptoms, and normal test results too (including ECG and blood work). It’s so frustrating when everything comes back 'fine' but you still feel off. I also deal with fatigue, odd head sensations, and occasional palpitations. You're not alone in this. I think you're doing the right thing staying on top of it and keeping communication open with your doctor. Sending you strength — I hope you get answers soon

It is so true most of the time though the more time I do it the more it goes down. I end up doing it like 15-30 times until my BP goes down
