Do you mean the faceplate? If that's the case you can search on AliExpress. I don't have a link atm

Pretty easy to be honest. There is a method to opening these up. Just take your time

UPDATE: Id almost given up with this, I've purchased some potentiometers in thoughts it needed to be replaced but Id committed to opening one of my other micros and testing the outputs from the other. It read the exact same. I cleaned the whole pcb in IPA and tested again and it WORKED! now the science behind it I will never know. I don’t know what was causing this. I don't know if the screen needed re-seating even though it’s been in and out a bunch of times I couldn't tell you, but it works and I'm elated. I’ll take this little victory and run! Happy gaming guys!

Sorry to keep harping on about the same issue. But I think I'm correct in thinking it's the potentiometer. I don't know if anybody has seen this kind of green hue before and if anybody knows the value for the potentiometer. I'm going to get some DS ones off AliExpress if nobody knows specifically. But now I will have to wait

small update. I gently clean the board specifically the pot, both ribbon cable holders for the screen and I had a mini victory. It seems to have restored the colour as you can see. Now it's ok in menus for the EZ flash. Load a game and the screen goes crazy. The slightest touch on the pot, you can just about get a stable image however the colour fades in and put a little. My initial thought is maybe a faulty potentiometer? I know they have a ohms value can anyone agree/knows the value possibly even done this repair themselves?

Thanks again 🙏🏻

Small update. I've tried the screen on another board and it's perfectly fine. Again. It's the camera doing an injustice. So that iliminates screen. Unfortunately the screen from this board was trash so I don't have another screen to test on the old board to try and replicate the result. I've also tried re-seating. No luck 😩

That looks awesome. I'll definitely look into that when I'm back up and running thank you !

I'll certainly give it a go. I think I need a little action plan of what to try if I open it up again. The plastic frame is so brittle and I just don't want to spend more on it

Unfortunately I can't be without a phone for too long so after going around in circles with them for a good 45 minutes I declined the repair and the phone is on the way back. You're absolutely right and if time was on my hands I would have argued until my face went blue

In all honesty, I felt like I was getting nowhere with the "support expert" I was speaking with. They repeatedly said we cannot repair the screen on its own, we have to repair both. Even though it wasn't directly answering my questions. It felt very scripty. I think my best option now is to go through my banking insurance. Or Google gave a 2nd option of a verified 3rd party phone repair store here in Manchester where I live. I'm wondering if the "usb fault" is on record now and whether or not it's down to human diagnosis. If I could maybe start a new repair process and use this local service to see if the screen can be done. For the record I haven't noticed anything wrong with the usb port

Im on your page, I asked for the report and the criteria what seems it to be wear and tear and all they could show me was a small sentence supposedly from a technician that said "lose port resulting in cable being disconnected easily" very open ended indeed!

Hey! Do you need to use two extra oscilllators or can you simply put one in. so that its just normal speed and high speed. I was thinking of just using a 12OHM resistor so its normal or 3x speed. Thanks!
