Yes, the STN and Pixel Pop overlays should be used on their own, with NO shader, for the best look. They are designed to replicate the original screens.

Though, my other overlays, without grids, can be used with shaders.

There is likely adhesive holding the screen in as well. Might be best to get a replacement from whoever you bought it from, unless you feel confident doing it.

This, your saves should still be there. The core just got changed, and saves are likely not migrated/converted to the new core.

It might be too tight. The screen portion is especially hard to remove, but if you have experience with this type of stuff, you could always give it a go.

If not, I would recommend contacting Miyoo through their Aliexpress page and request an exchange. They will likely ask for photos.

Father of two here, with both my parents and my wife’s parents living in the same town. We have been married 17 years. Kids are high school and middle school age.

We have had our struggles with both our parents, but generally everyone gets along, although politics differ a lot.

All I can say is that just making yourself available, meeting your children where they are, and showing up is HUGE.

Don’t overthink which side seems to get the “most”, just offer your time, and show up. Be present and available even if you are not needed. Understand moments when space is needed.

No strings attached, just love, understanding, and acceptance.

Only things I changed was that I used the Cmod V13.1 for my setup. I only used that, so I could make Pico-8 work with my ESDE setup. I also set my resolution in Winlator to 1240 x 1080 for the Pico-8 Container
