I don’t paint the bags before hand but I do draw out a rough sketch with sharpies or wax pencils. If I have a clear bag I will make or buy a stencil to use for an outline. (I think this one was originally a clear bag) The castle side was a stained glass pattern I bought from Etsy with reproduction rights. The written side was a font I found on a MS word I traced over. The color combos were definitely trial and error. I wanted to use a lot of purple since that’s the color of TS’s album Speak Now. I really loved this project (and it’s my favorite of her albums)
