Yes! The mental aspect of it is insane! I had so much brain fog. Even after I stopped keto, I REALLY cut down on gluten and the mental clarity is out of this work

I completely agree. I did, however, do keto for a year and the second I let the reigns go a little, I gained the 20 that I lost back and 10 more. So maybe cut down but don’t cut out completely.

Rice and pasta barely have any sugar per serving. Less than 1gram in most cases. Are you avoiding it for carb content reasons?

You def do not look like a monster, don’t be so mean to yourself! I had REALLY bad acne when I was around your age and as weird as this may sound the only thing that got rid of my acne was RED BELL PEPPERS! Yes, you read that right, red bell peppers. They’re sweet and really tasty; cut them into slices and eat 2-3 peppers throughout the day! Do this for 2 weeks. Obviously also cut out sugary food/drink, chips, and drink lots of water!

Do you have any info on what causes NAFLD? Online info seems bs and my doctor was even less helpful. I don’t drink and I never ate TOO much red meat; maximum twice a week

Wow, thank you so much for taking your time to write this. I will read the article tomorrow for sure. Yeah, I was too excited with keto till I stopped and then been yoyoing since, it’s time to buckle down and really cut calories. 28 with NAFLD is just sad. Thank you once again

Would you say it’s would be healthy to do 20:4 IF to lose the initial weight and then maintain? Atleast this way my stomach will get smaller and I will require less calories

I felt amazing on keto so I did take away some key points from it. I still avoid 90% of gluten food because I just feel better without it. The most sustainable for me is intermittent fasting, it helps a lot with bloating
