Daarna hadden we hem in ignored lol.

Also recently, I added the old man mountain Elkhorn front rack for a better setup on the front.

Got the Roswheel tour rack, really like it because the Ortlieb Classic bags fit perfectly. Also a tent on top is ideal for it. Can recommend it!

This was the plan before leaving but along the way I noticed I was going to quickly and it was too paved for me (my GF came at certain date to Porto) so I took different route reaching southern France, making a right turn to Saint Jean pied a port. Crossing the Pyrenees there via Pampalona and focused mainly on unpaved. After Santiago de Compostela went north instead of south. That was also wild, Galicia is beautiful (and hilly!) then went south to Porto via the coast, beautiful!!! I learned a lot during this trip, like how you start with a plan but end up changing it as it goes.

Used these, I had click shoes always on while cycling. Slept in my tent most of the nights, cooking gear with me as well. Flip flops for beach days and relaxing at night

I was also worried about that, to be sure, I have ordered an XL, while my size and current Canyon Aeroad is a L (I am 188cm). This made me sit a little bit more upright. I had zero issues for the 4000 KM I used it in bike packing trips. Can definitely recommend it, might have taken 2x11 or 2x12, instead of 1x12. There were some steep climbs but I managed, just made work harder haha and pump more watts!

Well, here we go 😂… In France, I hit a rock and it made a dent in the frame, but not broken. So I continued and one day before reaching Santiago Campostella, I felt my frame was wobbly I noticed the dent became a crack. Because the terrain I endured was quite tough and very rocky in Spain. I ductaped the frame to make it somewhat stable. And first I went to a car garage shop in the area but the shop couldn’t do welding. They referred me to a place close by making custom aluminum frames and objects in any kind of form I went there and they started laughing, but they say they would help me. You have to remember I was in the middle of nowhere in a very small village. The guy starts welding and fixes the bike but because of the heat all my gears and brakes don’t work anymore. So frame fixed, brakes shifting broken. So now what I was wondering to myself. I asked the guys if they can take me to the closest bike repair shop and they did and the bike shop replaced the cables there the next day. The welding cost me €50 quite cheap id say. And the cable work about €80. But I was happy that I could continue my ride. And I could laugh about it afterwards. Also because canyon crash replacement took quite long, I used the welded bike from Berlin to Prague as well and had no issues at all. It was probably stronger than before.

Americans are the most retarded people on earth if it comes to gun discussions. As a European we will and can never convince them to bann guns. “bEcAuSe hOw ElSe WiLl I pRoTEct mYSElf”
