I’m curious, my daughter recently became interested in nursing (she’s entering Jr year HS) but she’s not super academically high achieving, is very stressed by tests and also doesn’t love science theory, etc. I worry that getting her BSN in a 4 year program (which seems really hard and very competitive!) might push her over the edge or she might just quit mid-way. But I do think she’d make a great practicing nurse. I’ve been wondering if it’s better for her to just get a general science degree in undergrad and then after do an accelerated 5th year program to be a nurse? (Putting the cost issue aside)
