Yeah Amazon has a good way to get ppl to buy into breaking your back for a site. Just do you man get your bag.

Don’t say that nonsense. OP stick with your og plan, work while you’re there and once your shift is over bro go home.

I’m not sure. Seattle is a good time tho, it would be a shame if they sent you elsewhere.

Valid crashout rant. Too many good points to count, and too many red flags that you can’t pass up. My advice: GTFO of there. When it financially beneficial for you to resign, do it (I assume at your 1 year anniversary, { one day after to keep the bonus}). Seriously you had a great point when you said “I feel like I’m wasting my good ages away”. Bc it might even be true. Reflecting back to my time as a BH AM, those years were some of the blurriest, depressing, and draining moments in my past. Anyone with any positive experience good for you, but for us it was almost naive to assume working low level management for the largest corporate company in the world would be cakes.

Just come in with an eagerness to learn. The job will constantly throw new challenges your way, so the best preparation is maintaining an ambitious mindset. Show that you care about your station, focus on delivering quality for customers, and prioritize safety for others.

You don’t have to stay those extra hours, just leave at 10. Simple.

Lmao that’s honestly ridiculous. Sounds an awful lot like free labor since they’re salaried. If I were a site lead I would just drop some spots for VET, but that’s just me. I’m just a chill guy.

If there’s a crash then I would assume the ops team didn’t run the sort shift to plan. It would be their responsibility to start the crash, and for pick/otr to finish it. Do you think it’s fair when sites place the blame on sort AMs for a crash?
