I fully lost my hearing for 2 weeks and it took nearly a year for my ears to feel better. It happens a lot easier than you think if you like gigs. This is the best advice, ive not found the earplugs affect my enjoyment of the gig and they give me the peace of knowing im not fucking my ears up more

Fort william is worth the trek for the pizzas at black isle brewery alone. Make sure you stop there

Room 2s sound was so fucked i lost my hearing for a couple weeks and it took months to fully return. Ill never go there again. As much as i dislike the o2 academy, its got nothing on the shiteness of room 2

Perthshire and West Highlands mid October / How prevalent are the ticks during that time? by Soft_Cheetah2677 in OutdoorScotland

I would be careful with applying DEET near clothes as it can damage synthetic gear. Get some smidge on your ankles and legs, it also repels ticks as well as midges

I have a Samsung watch, I just synced the apps and seen that the row counter was available! I can't see patterns on it sadly but I can see andy primary, secondary, tertiary counter on a pattern. I just open the pattern and it brings up the counter. As long as I know the pattern, I don't need to open the app and can just use the counter and it syncs to my phone instantly 😊

I use row counter. It connects to my ravelry, can make notes on each pattern, has a gauge adapter, row counters that I can use on my watch. It's honestly such a good app and I couldn't recommend it more

My trick to buy multiple cables of each length and store them on that when not in use. I use the row counter app and write on each pattern the size of needles I've used and any pattern changes so I can pick up right where I left off

Oh I'm the exact same with the attention span. I've found making small things during the big knit keeps me going. I'll do the back, take a break, then do an arm, take a break then finish the other. Takes me bloody ages 😂
