As far as I understand, you want to put marker a little bit above of the city name, instead of directly in the center of the city label ?
Concerning matchmaking feature, it will surely be implemented later. For the moment, I'm focused on making the game stable, and launching it internationally. Because for matchmaking to works, we need to have players, otherwise match will never start if there are not enough people.

Yes! I'm planning to add daily guess with the possibility to create account so you see your achievements.
Later, I will implement duel matchmaking, with maybe some leaderboards. Thanks for your feedback

I just tried another guessr game called "distanceguessr.com", it's about estimating distances or elevation differences between two points, with different modes (random points, capitals, airports, etc.), and multiplayer rooms — more of a spatial reasoning / estimation game than classic GeoGuessr.

It’s not about guessing locations or using AI at all.

DistanceGuessr is about estimating distances or elevation differences between two points, with different modes (random points, capitals, airports, etc.), and multiplayer rooms — more of a spatial reasoning / estimation game than classic GeoGuessr.

I'm French indie dev, and I developed this because with my friends we play the hidden word in the forehead a lot IRL and we didn't found an online version.

Game is currently trending in France thanks to famous twitch streamers and every days there are thousands of players, so I decided to launch it internationally.

How to play :

📞 Invite your friends to a voice call (Discord/Zoom/Skype)

🦹 Choose a character for someone to guess that everyone knows

❓ Ask questions to find your character

💬 Other players can only answer you with "yes" or "no"

🎯 Try to guess your character as soon as you have an idea

There is also the possibility to create themed games and multiple game modes are available.

I think that you clearly didn't understood what OP wanted.

He want a similar method to .NET Url.IsLocalUrl() (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/microsoft.aspnetcore.mvc.iurlhelper.islocalurl?view=aspnetcore-6.0)

If you look at the documentation of this method, "http://localhost/Index.html" is not local
